DESCRIPTION:Each year one of our bishops visits St. Stephen’s Church to celebrate the Holy Eucharist\, preach\, and confirm youth and adults\, receive adults into the Episcopal Church\, or reaffirm the baptismal vows for those who desire it. \nIn 2026\, the Rt. Rev. Mark Bourlakas will be our episcopal visitor. (In this usage\, “episcopal\,” with a lower case “e\,” refers to bishops.) He will be present for both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services in the main church. \nYouth are prepared for the Rite of Confirmation through a program design especially for them. At St. Stephen’s\, this process is open to those in grade 9 or above. \nAdults are prepared during a class called “An Invitation to the Episcopal Church.” You can read more here.
