About Cate
The Rev. Cate Anthony began her ordained ministry at St. Stephen’s in the summer of 2020. A child of Florida and Delaware, Cate is a graduate of McGill University, Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, and Yale Divinity School. Prior to earning her Master of Divinity at Yale, Cate worked as a hospital chaplain at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. At St. Stephen’s, Cate is the clergyperson dedicated to children’s ministry and oversees our small groups program (among other things!). At the heart of Cate’s ministry is the desire to hold space for people of all experiences to draw closer to one another and to God, even and especially in times of conflict or crisis. In her time away from St. Stephen’s, Cate enjoys riding bikes and eating desserts with her fiancé, Emery.
