About Elizabeth
Elizabeth has a master’s degree in Special and Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. She grew up in Charlottesville. Elizabeth and her husband Ed have two children, Teddy and John, and a dog named June.
Over the past decade, Elizabeth has taught kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade, high school and most recently the Red Room at Dogwood. She believes in the importance of relationship-based teaching and play-based learning. Elizabeth enjoys reading, painting and spending time outdoors.
