Christmas Eve Family Service (2 p.m.)
Wednesday, December 24
2:00 - 3:30 pm
About the Event
Christmas Eve service at 2 p.m.; prelude begins at 1:30 p.m.
The first of two family-oriented Christmas Eve services takes place in the main church at 2 p.m. Both services offer Holy Eucharist: Rite Two, traditional Christmas carols, hymns, and anthems, and a children’s sermon.
A musical prelude begins at 1:30 p.m. Overflow seating will be available with a video feed in Palmer Hall Chapel and the fellowship hall. Those in overflow spaces will be ushered into the church to receive Holy Communion.
This is traditionally the Christmas Eve service with the highest attendance. Please plan to arrive early, as ushers will ask you not to save seats.
Child care will be available during this service and the 5 p.m. service. While the liturgy is very child-friendly, the nursery will be open for babies and children under 4 if you prefer to use this option.
Information about all Christmas services is available on this page. A PDF of the service booklet will be posted there closer to Christmas Eve.
