Christmas Eve Family Service (5 p.m.)
Wednesday, December 24
5:00 - 6:30 pm
About the Event
Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m.; prelude begins at 4:30 p.m.
The second of two family-oriented Christmas Eve services takes place in the main church at 2 p.m. Both services offer Holy Eucharist: Rite Two, traditional Christmas carols, hymns, and anthems, and a children’s sermon.
A musical prelude begins at 4:30 p.m. Overflow seating will be available with a video feed in Palmer Hall Chapel and the fellowship hall. Those in overflow spaces will be ushered into the church to receive Holy Communion.
This service is very well-attended. Please plan to arrive early, as ushers will ask you not to save seats.
Child care will be available during this service and the 2 p.m. service. While the liturgy is very child-friendly, the nursery will be open for babies and children under 4 if you prefer to use this option.
Information about all Christmas services is available on this page. A PDF of the service booklet will be posted there closer to Christmas Eve.
