Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Service

About the Event

Shrove Tuesday is the last day of Epiphany; the next day, Ash Wednesday, is the beginning of Lent. We celebrate with a pancake supper in the fellowship hall. There are two seatings–one at 5:30 p.m. and one at 6:30 p.m.–with a brief service between, beginning at 6:15. The service takes place outdoors in the courtyard where we burn dried palms from last year’s Palm Sunday services. If you have palms saved from last year, please bring them to church. The cost for supper is $10 per person with a $30 maximum for a family.
