Thanksgiving Day service
Thursday, November 28
10:30 - 11:30 am
About the Event
St. Stephen’s Church is known for our moving service of Morning Prayer held on Thanksgiving Day. The service includes a sermon–this year’s preacher is the Rev. William L. Sachs–and stirring music performed by St. Stephen’s Choir accompanied by organ and brass. St. Stephen’s flower guild does some of their best work for this occasion.
Make plans to attend this popular service to give thanks to God for our blessings. We recommend arriving early and carpooling or walking, since it is one of the most well-attended services of the year. Seat-saving is strongly discouraged.
Prelude music (brass and organ) will begin approximately 20 minutes before the service.
